Resources Information System (TNRIS), a division of

Description:
Position requires the following: Knowledge of
insurance, business analysis, quality assurance,
insurance overages and insurance rating. Knowledge
of Actuarial concepts and automated testing tools is
a plus. Business Analysts have primary
accountability for providing client support and
consultation on the development of business
requirements in the design and delivery of IT
solutions; elicit needs for basic to complex
business and technical issues, translate and
document needs into understandable requirements, and
manage scope and solution design to those
requirements; work collaboratively with Enterprise
Architecture to deliver best possible requirements
solutions by demonstrating a comprehensive
understanding of business strategies, products,
functions and processes, along with current and
emerging IT products, services and methodologies;
understand the goals and risks associated with the
business and technical requirements and offer
counsel on risk mitigation and the alignment of
requirements with objectives; demonstrate a team
orientation by working closely and effectively with
customers, development teams and outside services;
demonstrate solid skills in the use of business
analysis tools and methodologies.

facing E-commerce architecture. (e.g. Apache, BEA
WebLogic, ATG Dynamo, iPlanet, Vignette Portal).
Strong shell programming (Perl, Bourne shell, awk,
sed). Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and integrate
three-tiered web-based systems. Strong understanding
of Internet technologies including firewalls, load
balancers, TCPIP, DNS, and Akamai technologies.B
